WHAT IS THIS ABOUT?

Responsive image e-Yantra has touched thousands of lives over 10+ years through initiatives such as eYRC and eLSI. To commemorate this we are working with the e-Yantra community to co-create an e-Yantra ANTHEM. Who better to come up with this song than the e-Yantra community itself. Pen down your experience of e-Yantra, learning through competing, balancing academic with competition loads, robotics, innovation & entrepreneurship, the joys and the angst of intense work towards deadlines. And record a video of yourself rapping/singing over a backing track to win exciting prizes. Share your feelings with the community through rap!

WHO CAN TAKE PART?

Responsive image EVERYONE is welcome to take part, all it takes is a little bit of imagination and pen and paper. Tell us how e-Yantra has positively impacted your life in a way that others can relate to and that inspires others. You’ll be talking your heart directly to an e-Yantra community of over 100,000 members.

HOW DO I TAKE PART?

Responsive image Tell us a STORY that others in the e-Yantra community can relate to. Let it be an inspiring story! You can add this to music like a song with lyrics or as verses of RAP. Publicise this as your Facebook post for maximum likes and positive reactions. You will receive a link to your video hosted on the e-Yantra portal that you can share with the e-Yantra community to vote on. Deadline for entry submission is the 31st of July 2019.

WHAT CAN I RAP OVER?

Responsive image Any backing track of your choice, the only condition is that you have fun with it! You may refer to these websites for royalty free beats or come up with your own- https://freebeats.io/royalty-free-rap-beats http://freemusicarchive.org/genre/Hip-Hop_Beats/ Just have the beat running in the background as you sing/rap over it when recording your video. Remember - the purpose of this exercise is to share feelings, tell your story, to connect and to entertain!

HOW DOES THE JUDGING WORK?

Responsive image There are TWO ROUNDS of judging. In the first round you can be selected on the basis of number of positive reactions to your facebook entry, or based on the votes by the e-Yantra community on the website portal. 6 shortlisted entries will be judged by a panel of eminent musicians. The winner of the competition gets ₹ 15,000 and his/her song will be produced professionally at a studio. The first runner up will get ₹ 10,000, the second runner up ₹ 5,000, and other shortlisted entries will get ₹ 2,000 each.
